RMC vs Trent Sunday - 2018/10/07

Kingston, ON - In their final home game of the year, the Paladins (1-10-1) earned their first win since 2016, beating Trent (2-7-4) 1-0.

RMC keeper Claudia Rusu made a few important saves early in the match to keep the game scoreless.

Brianne Lowka scored the first goal of her U SPORTS career to give the Paladins the lead.

Halftime

RMC led Trent 1-0 at the break.

Rusu finished with 11 saves and a clean sheet for RMC, including a highlight-reel save near the end of the match to preserve the Paladins lead.

The 1-0 win was celebrated with mixed emotions, as RMC seniors Reina Cho, Kaylee Carlisle and Emma Owen played their final minutes at home.

RMC finishes the season with four games on the road, starting with Nipissing (6-3-3) and Laurentian (3-6-3) next weekend.
