The Northern Cardinal By: Anthony Jewell & Dylan Willis

Cardinals don’t migrate. The scientific name of The Northern Cardinal is the Cardinalis Cardinalis. Cardinals are active songbirds and sing a variety of different melodies. The color is a key to mating success—the brighter the better. Females are an attractive tan/gray. Males can be aggressive when defending their territory.
