"To love our neighbor as ourselves is such a truth for regulating human society, that by that alone one might determine all the cases in social morality."
The hiroshima bombing is one of the most important points in history. Among the invention of the smartphone, the radar, the car, the gun. The atomic bomb is now the most destructive and most cruel weapon in the world so far. The first attack using this weapon was Hiroshima. The United States of America used this bomb when they decided Japan had to surrender, and surrender fast, thus the atom bomb was dropped as a result of the fastest way to end the war. Did this decision agree with John Locke? John Locke believes in freedom to all men. I don't believe that Locke would believe that dropping the Atom bomb was a moral act, I think that Locke would have rather kept fighting a fair fight, with out weapons of mass destruction.
