Welcome to a revision guide on area!

What is area?

Area depends on the shapes and the formulas like a rectangle or a square you just times the lenght and width but a trapezium will be different.

With a trapezium you have to times the width of the parrell lines which is A and B than times the width between them which is H and that's how you work out the area of a trapezium.

Here are the some of the formulas,

Square: 4x sides, rectangle: 2x length and width and circle: 2x pi x radius
