Student Support During Remote Learning We're Here to Support and Inform You

A public health crisis, or other emergency situation, affects all members of the Imperial Valley College Community. Understanding the importance of support services during this time, we’ve collected and compiled information about health, food resources, employment, and more. This support services hub is designed to provide a central location for help with various needs arising from the pandemic. Check back frequently as these pages will be updated as additional information becomes available.

General COVID-19 Pre-Screening Form

Arrive early when visiting campus to complete the screening process.

Students shall enter campus using Gate 3 (by old highway 111).

Faculty, staff, and visitors shall enter campus using Gate 2 (on Aten Road).

Stop vehicles by the screening booth while applying social distance and wearing a face mask.

Campus Nurse and/or Campus Safety Officers (CSO) will proceed with screening:

Face coverings are required on campus

Wearing a cloth face covering correctly can help prevent the spread of #COVID19 to others. When you go out on essential trips, follow these "dos". If you have a child remember those under age 2 should not wear a face covering.

COVID-19 Testing

If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 and would like to get tested, talk to your local health care provider or visit the Imperial County Public Health Department's website for more information.

  • For best reception park near buildings
  • Only park at marked student spaces
  • Only owners of a valid disabled placard may use disabled parking spaces
  • Only members of the same household in each vehicle
  • Occupants MUST remain in vehicles
  • Restrooms and other on-campus services not available
  • College campus safety will monitor the parking lot
  • Student code of conduct and all other parking guidelines are in effect

Bookstore Textbook Rental Check-ins/ Returns

Q: Can I come to the bookstore to check-in my rental textbooks for this term?

A: Our bookstore is closed. You can ship rentals back to the campus store via a free FedEx return label.

Two ways to get a Rental Return Label:

  1. Wait for the rental reminder email that is sent 14 days before your rental due date. Email is sent again 7 days, 3 days, and the day of your due date. This email contains a link to generate a free return shipping label and packing
