Parent/Teacher Conferences Tomorrow, March 11th!
Honors Offerings for JC Spring Term
We were able to secure two new honors offerings for the spring term at Jackson College! ENG 132 and PSY 140 will be offered on Mon/Wed and Tues/Thurs, from 11 AM - 2 PM, respectively. Both classes will be complete by the end of July, for students wishing to avoid taking classes into August. This is a great opportunity for students seeking to graduate with their Honors degree. If you've already signed up for Spring classes and would like to switch into these sections, please see Chris Kimball so we can get you into the classes you desire.
Travel With JPEC to London, Paris, Florence and Rome!
An informational meeting will be held in Room 158 on March 29th, at 4:40 PM. If you're interested in traveling, but can't make the meeting or have other questions, please contact Ms. Shirk at email@example.com
Senior Portraits Due
If you would like a senior portrait you commissioned to be featured in the yearbook, please submit one to firstname.lastname@example.org by March 29th. The yearbook will utilize school photos for those not submitting senior portraits. Please address any questions you have to the listed yearbook email address.
Career Center Sign-ups
Career Center enrollment forms are available behind the front desk. Forms can be given to Mr. Marowelli or the front desk will take them for you. Students must be in 10th or 11th grade this year in order to enroll in the career center for the Fall term. It's important to realize and remember that the career center follows the same calendar as other county schools, meaning students will start before the normal JPEC term and students will have to balance having a JPEC calendar and a JACC calendar, similar to managing the differences between JPEC and Jackson College calendars. To best ensure that your choices are met, forms need to be in by 3/15. Please contact Mr. Marowelli if this is not possible or you have any questions.
Yearbooks for Sale through April 30th
For the past 5 years, our school has produced a yearbook to preserve school memories for students and their families. The yearbook is a strong tradition in our school and we strive to deliver the best possible yearbook for our students every year. This year’s book is available for purchase online through April 30th. The cost is $60, which provides a hardcover 80-page book filled with memories of our student’s experiences and accomplishments. Orders can be placed at https://ybpay.lifetouch.com/Order/SelectJob by using the code 13635419.
To help us provide a high-quality yearbook at a price that all families can afford, please consider contributing to our yearbook donation program. Donations can be made while ordering your own yearbook online. Your generosity allows us to provide yearbooks to students who may not otherwise be able to afford a copy. Thank you for supporting JPEC’s yearbook program!
