HMS Glowworm was a G-class destroyer built for the Royal Navy in the mid-1930s. During the Spanish Civil War the ship spent part of 1936 and 1937 in Spanish waters, enforcing the arms blockade imposed and the ship was lunched on July 22, 1935 and the Length: 323
the captain name was Lieutenant Commander Roope he was the captain of the HMS glowworm he saw a German ship called the hipper but the only way he saw it is when one of the sailor fall off the HMS glow worm and they fall all the way back of the other ships so he went after the Adderley hipper but the Adderley hipper it was 2 times bigger then the HMS glow worm so after a long fight the HMS glow worm reamed in to the Adderley hipper making a big hole in the hipper so the glow worm was sinking but three of the the glow worm sailors survived and the Adderley hipper ask for the sailors and HMS glow worm to get a metal for there braver.
