Join Oregon State University and Adobe for a Creative Jam on Friday, May 24 at OSU’s beautiful Memorial Union. It’s a one-of-a-kind event, featuring inspiring speakers, a live design competition, portfolio reviews, and fabulous prizes—only for OSU students. And best of all, it’s completely free.
Creative Jam is an international event series from Adobe featuring creative thought leader talks, hands-on projects, giveaways, and food. OSU students compete in a live design competition to create a design prototype based on a theme given to them on the spot and using Adobe XD, a remarkably intuitive tool that makes designing together easy. No previous experience in Adobe XD or other Creative Cloud tools or services necessary!
Each team presents their work to a cheering audience of students and special guests, with judges awarding a year’s personal subscription to the complete Adobe Creative Cloud suite of tools (a $600 value) to every member of the winning team. And all competitors automatically receive a three-month subscription to Adobe Stock (a $60 value) just for competing.
Competition slots are limited, so make sure you register today—once they’re gone, they’re gone. But have no fear: If you don’t compete, you can sign up to attend as part of our lively audience, cheering on teams, meeting students from across the university, and hearing from inspiring leaders from the community. and you’ll vote on the best project in our Audience Choice award!
10:00 am Competitors arrive, and take a deep dive into Adobe XD with our quick bootcamp. No prior experience required—just make sure you bring your laptop.
11:00 am Competitors form cross-disciplinary teams and create amazing apps with Adobe XD. We’ll serve lunch while teams work.
2:00 pm Teams submit their prototypes and prepare their presentations. Attendees arrive, enjoy refreshments, and learn from inspiring speakers from across the region who’ll discuss their work and impact.
