Roger Parham-Brown is a traditional folk musician and novelist who has taught English literature and Creative Writing in several New England colleges, including Dartmouth.
For twenty years, he and his now deceased wife, the painter, Anne Parham-Brown, and their family lived in the mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico. In addition, he has spent time as a journalist in El Salvador, and for five years lived in Bucharest, Romania, teaching English while researching and writing about his experience there.
Watch him perform "In The Pines" at Kulak's Woodshed:
He has been in love with singing since he was a small boy and has been singing traditional songs all of his life. He has finally been persuaded to record them.
