Principal's Corner

Parents and Guardians:

We are offering afterschool sessions for any students taking a high school credited course at Boles who needs to make up time to receive credit. If a student has more than 8 absences in the fall semester for the course, they will need to make up time. If you are unsure, please contact your student's counselor. In-person students will attend the classroom noted, and virtual students will attend via the Zoom link. In order to receive credit, students attend 50 minutes. If virtual, students must have cameras on the entire time. Please use the button below to see the attached calendar for location and log in information.

Notes from the Clinic

ALL medications for students need to be picked up. They may be picked up anytime between now and the last day of school. ALL medications not picked up by 1:30 PM on May 25 WILL BE DESTROYED. No medications are kept over the summer.

ALL MEDICATIONS NOT PICKED UP WILL BE DESTROYED.

If you have a student that is having symptoms of Covid, is currently being tested for Covid, or has tested positive for Covid it is very important that you contact the school nurse for further direction. Our goal at Boles is to keep every student and staff member safe and healthy. If you ever have any questions or concerns please contact Linda Ahern, BSN RN at lahern@aisd.net or 682-867-8000.

Hotspot tech support

If you have a district issued hotspot there is a support number families can call now if they experience issues with the device. Keep in mind, the support will only be basic as in connectivity issues etc.

PAL Summer Camp

The Arlington Police Athletic League presents “PAL CAMP 2021,” a unique summer camp experience. This is an exciting opportunity for students entering into the 8th and 9th grades of AISD and MISD Schools.

ATTN: 8th Graders

The Academic Decathlon program at Martin for the 2021-22 school year is expanding to include the Octathlon competition which is exclusively available to freshmen and sophomores.

City of Arlington JCM Summer Program

The City of Arlington JCM Diversion program is now offering a youth summer program. The program begins Monday June 14, 2021 – July 29, 2021; 9A -4P. The program is located at the Meadowbrook Recreation Center, 1400 Dugan St, Arlington TX 76010 for students from the ages of 7 -14. There is no fee for this program. The students will participate in fun and engaging activities related to self-management, self-awareness, decision making, relationship building, social awareness, academic enhancements, as well as educational field trips and presentations. The parents may email to confirm their interest and attend the orientation; carlin.caliman@arlingtontx.gov.

Did you know you can help raise money for your school by downloading the Box Tops for Education app to your device, and scanning your receipts from most any store? Box Tops can be found on many different items including groceries, school supplies, paper goods, and much more. If you purchase these items, scan your receipt in the app to help us out. Let your friends and family know as anyone can participate!
