Wisconsin became the third state on May 29, 1848 and it's shaped like a mitten.

Wisconsin is also one of the nation's leading agriculture states. That means that they have a lot of farming, which includes crops, and the rearing of animals to provide food, wool, and other products.

The Wisconsin Dells are in Wisconsin and it's the largest indoor water park in America. There's water slides, air tubes, and families enjoy it very much.

Harry Houdini

Harry Houdini was a famous magician. He was born in Hungary and later moved to Appletown in Wisconsin. Harry was born in 1874 and died in 1926.

In 1848, the state capital Madison was named after the president James Madison. Then a judge bought about 1,000 acres of forest so he could build a city. Doty named street signs after the 39 signers of the US Constitution.
