Medieval Torture Zoey

Ordeal by water was when the person accused had their arms and legs tied together, from then they were thrown into the water to see if they floated or sank. If they floated they were guilty and later killed or if they sank they were innocent

\

The accused would pick up a hot iron bar and hold it while walking about 9 feet then their hands were bandaged up, after three days they returned to the court and got the bandages removed. If the accused hands were healing they were innocent but if the hands shown no sign of healing the person was guilty

Serious crimes were handed to the King's court, there the accused would face a trail to find out if they were guilty or innocent.
