Building/Site Sinking Fund Information
In a little over a month, you will be asked to decide an important issue in the November election. The Troy School District is asking voters to consider a 1 mill Building and Site Sinking Fund. This fund would be created at NO INCREASE TO YOUR CURRENT TAX RATE and would allow us to make necessary repairs and refurbishments to Larson and the rest of our schools. If you have questions about this proposal, there is lots of information and a FAQ link on the TSD website (link below). But the most important thing to do right now is to make sure you are registered to vote! The last day to register is Tuesday, October 10th. For more information, click on the link below.

Larson’s French Club will be holding its first meeting on Tuesday, October 10th from 2:45 to 3:15. This introductory meeting will give students the opportunity to learn more about all of the fantastic events that French club will hold throughout the year. French Club is designed to allow students to have lots of fun while learning about French language and culture. French Club will meet most Tuesdays, with meetings alternating between a focus on learning a little bit of French through songs and games and a focus on French culture with cooking and craft activities. Students need no prior experience with French in order to join. Interested students should pick up a permission slip outside of room 907. There will be a $15 initial fee so that we can order French club t-shirts to wear on days when French Club meets. Students can also join the Larson French Club Group on Schoology by using the join code GWFM3-FXMRJ. Feel free to contact Miss Conrad (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions!
Picture Retake Day
Our final picture retake opportunity will take place on Tuesday, October 10. Students wishing to retake should bring their unwanted photos to school that day to exchange.
