The countdown to winter break begins! There are only two week left of the semester. This newsletter provides information regarding christmas parties and gift exchanges. We hope that everyone continues to stay safe!

Important Information

December Students of the Month

Congratulations to Kaia Arvin, Sam Brittain, Isabel Toy, Jenner Strange, Emmy Toy, Landon Kinney, Ava Peek, Breah Kidwell, Wyatt Roach, Claire Wolfe, Addison Moore, Bryce Christmas, Zoee Brown and Mrs. Krista Truelove who were selected as December Students/Staff of the Month. The "Mane" Trait for December is Work Hard.

COVID Information

To make sure that our students and families are prepared for any situation, teachers will be sending chromebooks home on occasion. This will help parents to see the platforms that we use in case we would go to eLearning for snow days or have to move to virtual learning. This will also help us to know who is able to connect and who needs wifi assistance. Please communicate with your child's teacher if you are having issues connecting so we can work through any obstacles.

LES Power Hour (FREE TUTORING)

Our tutoring service has started. Tutoring is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays of each week, as long as we have teachers to supervise. We have 20 spots available each day. To give all students an opportunity to receive this service, you must call into the office beginning on Monday of each week to sign up. Tutoring is after until 4:00 PM. Call the elementary office with any questions.

Christmas Gift Exchanges

During Christmas time, many classrooms participate in classroom gift exchanges. This year, we will still allow gift exchanges for classrooms wanting to participate. If your class is participating in a gift exchange, we ask that all gifts be sent into school no later than Monday, December 14th so they can sit for 48 hours before parties. If you do not want your child to participate, please let your child's teacher know. Further information will be sent from your child's teacher if they are participating.
