Hoffman's Ministry Update February 2017

It's not goodbye, only "until we meet again" It's crazy that one of the highlights of our year so far was coming the end of our season at His Kids Rosebank (now called Every Nation Kids with our name change from His People to Every Nation) We were privileged to attend all three services that weekend and share one more time about what we are going off to do in Kenya. We are reminded of how excited our 10-13 year olds were when we went to Nairobi for the 10-Days mission. We arrived at the airport and recorded a video to send back home so that our kids could keep up to date on what was happening with us. We know that many of the kids that we have ministered to at church all these years join with each of you as our prayer partners.

We are missing being on the ground ministering to kids though. So strange to arrive at church and not be with our kids or be at the schools or park during the week. But we are thankful to be a part of the Every Nation Rosebank congregation. One week after a Sunday service Lennon and I both commented how refreshed we were by the worship and how the Word injected us with such faith. So many benefits of being a part of the local church.

"No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God," Romans 4:20 ESV

Almost there...

We can't believe how fast the time has gone. In just 35 days the Hoffmans will be heading off to Nairobi. Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement. We are now 53% of our financial goal that we need to meet before we can go. We believe that the rest will come in. As Romans described Abraham, we are not wavered concerning the promise of God for us, we are full of faith for the rest of the amount to come in.

We have been more in contact with our team in Kenya and things are going well with them. This past weekend they had leaders gathering with some students that are now the first bunch of Every Nation Campus leaders. We are proud of our very own Siphokazi from Joburg who is there making disciples amongst the students. She is also a great source of on-the-ground information. DeWett and Miemie our church plant leaders have been great in building with us relationally even before we come. We have enjoyed our video chats over Whatsapp where we can ask questions and just get to know each other.

We thank you for being on this journey with us. Thank you for how you minister to us, we couldn't do this on our own. We are committed to praying for you on a regular basis so please send us any prayer needs that you might have.
