Tougher Journey= Nicer Destination

“When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.” I live for this quote this passage aids in everyday life whether at work on your sports team or maybe in the classroom anywhere really. If your football team is terrible and you love the sport enough and truly want to succeed others will see you and strive off your energy and see your work ethic and do the same. Picture one of your siblings doing good in school and getting praised for their work by your parents you will do the same to also get rewarded unless you could care less. Which defines this quote if you love it you will work for it and what surrounds you will be better too.

“No matter what he does, every person on earth plays a central role in the history of the world. And normally he doesn't know it.”

This quote is the epitome of a football team, It doesn't matter who or what your job is on the field you have a place and a purpose on that field. For example the water-boy without him your players will be quenched and be at a huge disadvantage to the other team. It could also cause heat exhaustion and cause your players to cramp, feel nauseous etc. So that tiny job is the base of the entire team. Even if you feel useless a backup , a backup to a backup you have a job once the guy in front of you goes down you're up. Without you your team would have a void. If you are that kid that is constantly being yelled at by the coach there is a reason he's yelling at you because he wants you to improve if he didn't care why waste his breath. Everyone has a job no matter what task you must accomplish

“I don’t live in either my past or my future. I’m interested only in the present. If you can concentrate always on the present, you’ll be a happy man. Life will be a party for you, a grand festival, because life is the moment we’re living now.”

If every football player new this quote they would be unstoppable picture kicking off to the other team and they run passed your entire defense on the first play of the game is that not demoralizing? The answer is YES it really is. But it doesn't matter how bad you started it's how you finish you should forget the last play and focus on the one you're playing you can't live your life dragging on the past. Imagine Santiago if he didn't move on after the thief stealing all of his money there would be no Alchemist there would just be a kid giving up on his dream. He didn't focus on the passed instead he figured out a way to make money exponentially and fulfill the goal he set out for.

“If you start by promising what you don't even have yet, you'll lose your desire to work towards getting it.”

This happens to the greatest teams out there they boast off wins they haven't earned yet. Oh thats an easy win so they don't work for it like they would if it were versus a good team that would be a struggle to play. The great players treat every single game like it was there last. When you do this you are giving that team so much more momentum and you are very vulnerable. If you walk through life with ease someone will beat you to the prize.

“Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about his or her own.

People are so quick to jump on others peoples cases everyone's but their own. For example if the quarterback has a bad play or a crappy throw all the fans or supporter call them trash you ty throwing in seconds while being chased by 400 pound giants. You'd be lucky if you didn't get killed the first play try four quarters. It can also go vise versa the quarterback is talking smack on his receivers for dropping the ball the same thing applies its not easy to catch a bullet while being chased down by a speedy corner. Things are easier said than done so before you get on someone's case try fitting in their shoes.
