No Objections

Opening Reception: February 9, 2019 from 5-7 PM

Fall into worlds of captivating color fields, lavish lines, and striking shapes. No Objections showcases Open Door artists who work non-objectively, creating pieces that are aesthetically complex, while void of recognizable imagery. Viewers will not be able to object to these abstract artworks!

Exhibition will be on display from 2/9/19 – 3/8/19.

Opening Reception: April 6, 2019 from 5-7 PM

We are opening our doors to creative collaboration! This Inspired That invites selected community artists to hand-pick an Open Door artwork that sparks creative vision. They then use that spark to create a response piece, relating to the original through content, stylization, or subject matter. The two works are displayed side-by-side in an exhibition that highlights artistic admiration.

Exhibition will be on display from 4/6/19 – 5/3/19.

Opening Reception: May 11, 2019 from 5-7 PM

Photographers from Open Door and the greater Columbus community warmly invite you to an exhibition of moments in time. With the click of a shutter, a photographer can make an instant last a lifetime. With Ephemeral Moments, no memory is fleeting!

Exhibition will be on display from 5/11/19 – 6/7/19.

Opening Reception: July 13, 2019 from 5-7 PM

Opening Reception: November 9, 2019 from 5-7 PM

For Individuals with Disabilities, Getting a Job Means More than Just a Paycheck

For many of us, going to work is an everyday part of life. But, for some individuals with disabilities, getting a job can mean so much more. Finding meaningful work in the community helps individuals find structure in their daily lives, provides financial stability, offers the opportunity to make new friends, and empowers them to become active and engaged members of their community.

Today we would like to take a look back, and celebrate the successes of individuals who found work with the help of our Vocational Specialists in 2018. We are so proud of you!

The First Annual CCHS Food Drive was a Great Success!

We know that hunger is a harsh reality facing some of those in our community. That is why during the holiday season, we came together to create CCHS' First Annual Food Drive. With your help, we were able to collect more than 500 pounds of food for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank! Thank you!

However, hunger doesn't end with the holidays. If you would like to get involved, please consider giving food, time, money, or your voice to this important cause.
