Gettysburg war started in July 1, 1863 and ended in July 3, 1863. The war has lasted for 3 days. The general Robert E. Lee has lead the war in Virginia with the northern army against the southern army which was lead by General George G. Meade. This was one of the most important battles of the american war. After the battle of Chancellorsville Robert E. Lee took his army and marched to Virginia where the war had happen On the third day of the war Lee had 15,00 troops go over to the enemy center at cemetery Ridge. Then they invaded them without them knowing and so the war had began on the third day.
