Javelina Alumni Association to Honor Dr. Tallant as Honorary Alumnus
The Javelina Alumni Association (JAA) at Texas A&M University-Kingsville honors several distinguished alumni each year at Homecoming and 2018 is no exception. However, a new award will be given this year as the JAA gives an Honorary Alumni Award to University President Dr. Steven H. Tallant.
“I am honored and humbled to be receiving this award,” said Tallant. “I have enjoyed my tenure at Texas A&M-Kingsville and I share this honor with all the faculty and staff who have been here as we put our ideas in motion to make this university a great place to get a college education.”
