Take part in a new play about Portland!
We are bringing generations together to share the stories and insights of the Portland Stone industry and the Jurassic Coast.
This new play will draw on the history of the Earth’s geology and the effects of climate change.
A community group of players ‘The Portland Players’ will be created to workshop a script written by the Black Ven Poet.

Rehearsed outdoor public performances will take place in May 2021...
...and go on to tour across the country enlightening people on the story behind the striking white stone that makes up most of the prominent buildings in our cities.
