Freedom What is it?

Freedom in the early colonies was the freedom to pursue what you want. The religious freedom was still a little lacking with little tolerance, especially in the south.
The freedom wanted during the revolution were the human rights and freedom to have a say in taxes and laws and their leaders. During the founding, and signing of the constitution
The freedom in early 1800s was the freedom to have economic success, and the freedom to pursue what ever job you want. Free African Americans still have minimum rights, and only poor families have their women work. Women do not have many right and are supposed to be housewives.
