Healthy Snacking by Tori Stanton

When healthy snacks are not available in school vending machines, students will choose snacks that are not good for them.

Students should be able to make healthy decisions when choosing a snack, but usually their only options are chips and candy.

The administration at Timberlake Christian Schools should remove sugar-filled drinks and snacks and replace them with healthy items like water, fruit, and yogurt.

Having healthy snacks in vending machines will increase the overall health of the school, and decrease the obesity rate of the student body.
