Rachel McManus Welcome to my life

Hi, I'm Rachel McManus and I'm from Braintree, Massachusetts, which is about ten minutes south of Boston. One of the best decisions I've made so far is deciding to come to Clemson. I am so glad that I chose an out of state school, but especially this one. Not many other people can say their football team won the National Championship their freshman year. I've been blessed with great people and especially great weather during my time so far at Clemson and can't wait for the next three and a half years.

During high school I played soccer, lacrosse, and ran indoor track. Luckily, all of my best friends were on these teams as well. I miss being able to play with them everyday and miss the intensity of the games. I'm so blessed to have had such amazing teammates to share all of our fun and successful seasons with and would do anything for just one more game.
This is me and my twin sister Ashley. We have been best friends since forever and have been going to school together all the way up until college. She goes to the University of New Hampshire. It's weird not seeing her everyday and I miss her, but this time apart is good for us. I can't wait to be back with her again watching Netflix all day and spending unnecessary amounts of money at the mall.
These are my best friends from Clemson. From right to left it goes Amanda, Natalie, and me. I'm not really sure how we even became friends, but I'm glad that we did. I feel like they would fit right in with my friends from home. Natalie is from New York and Amanda is from New Jersey, so it will make for some fun summer trips. I can't wait until we are all living together next year.
This is my Alpha Phi family. From right to left it goes Claire, Me, Devon, and Taylor. I never really saw myself being in a sorority, but these people make me glad that I am. Rushing was definitely something that was out of my comfort zone, but the experience has been so worth it. It's so fun going to functions, formals, and philanthropy events with such a great group of girls and I can't wait to see what the next three years have in store.
