When your fitted into a racing car and you race to win, second or third place is not enough
Croft 750mc meeting.. Arrived on Friday to glorious sunshine, this continued for Saturday morning, then the heavens opened with several thunderstorms blowing there way over the circuit. Sunday was then replaced with the sunshine we had Friday!
With the racing season in full swing, Croft saw 10 formulae make the trip up north.. Full race results can be found by clicking on the button below..
K-Tec Clio 182 Championship saw a double winner for the first time this season, well done to Patrick Fletcher who won from 2nd on the grid and from the reverse grid in race 2..
Driver of the month June - Oliver Batten
Well done to driver of the month Oliver Batten, racing in his no. 11 locost he qualified in 6th place.. Race 1 - Oliver was in a battle for the lead and eventually finished in 2nd his best finish in locost, Race 2 - again Oliver was in a battle for the lead and finished 2nd again. Unfortunately mechanical issues led to a non start in race 3.. lets hope theres more trophies to come!
Brands hatch is next on the calendar..
In under a weeks time it all starts again at Brands Hatch.. with 13 formulae taking part it will be an action packed weekend. In the Classic Stock Hatch they are getting a new driver to contend with a certain Anthony Reid will be in a Peugeot so look out for him..
On another note, I had my first experience photographing bikes this week at the BSB test day, amazing how fast and loud they are, but don't worry I'm sticking with four wheels ;) Full gallery can be found here..
