2.WHAT IS PCQB 01?

The use and application of a handgun in CQB is quite different and potentially dangerous compared to long guns. That is primarily due to its length, ammo capacity, as well as maneuverability in and around obstacles, bystanders, and, ultimately, team members.

As CQB is commonly involved a certain level of confinement and limited working space – your chances to cause more harm due to improper weapon flow or manipulation skills is statistically increased, especially in stressful situations where cognitive capabilities are diminished. In this course, however, you will learn how to perform to prevent friendly fire or accidents while clearing rooms or moving in tight environments.

This course is based on Project Gecko CQB methodology and conducted under the emphasis of using a handgun, in short proximity to threat within the CQB context.

Immediate Threat CQB or ITCQB - is an American / Israeli influenced, high threat close quarters combat oriented methodology which provides Military, Law Enforcement or security organizations with a relevant framework of methods and techniques which are associated with high threat in short proximity and are based on Human behavior / performance.

This course is first level, in a series of 4 levels ITCQB programs. Participiants completeing this course, are eligible to join any of our advanced classes!

The course set its focus on individual skill in close quarters, weapon flow and friendly fire prevention as well as solo to two man room clearing capacities - all under the application of the handgun.
