Brain stem-controls organ . In front of the cerebellum protected by a cerebrospinal cord.

Spinal cord- that is enclosed in the spine and connects nearly all parts of the body to the brain.protected by the spinal column.

Nerves-a bundle of fibers that transmits impulses of sensation to the brain or spinal cord. Protected by the brain and the spinal cord.
