What is the history of Jazz music in the 1920's? It was first started in New Orleans with the African American people who live there. Jazz music was what High Schoolers would listen to. In the 1920's the phonograph was created and it was one of the main things that played Jazz music. Jazz music was one of the first music that American accepted. Jazz scholars would separate jazz music in to 2 different groups "Jazz", and "White Jazz" . What did Jazz music look/sound like in the 1920's? How did it become popular?
