A Call To Service by Myles Davis

Christians are meant to show love to their communities.

Community involvement is multifaceted, and all dimensions of community involvement lead to people interactions, necessary for sharing the gospel.

Christians are called to be God's witnesses, and community involvement can be used as a tool for witnessing.

Establishing relationships with people is a key component of sharing the gospel; community involvement facilitates these relationships and makes it possible for one to share his experiences with another in hopes of gaining the opportunity to witness at some point.

One result of community involvement, and arguably the most important, is the opportunity to witness to those in the community.
