Room to Read

Purpose: a collaboration with local governments, school, communities, and families to support girls to reach their full potential.

Facts: Nearly 800 million people can't read worldwide, and 2/3 of them are girls.

When girls stay in school life improves for everyone. HIV and poverty will decrease. The kids of the educated children will also become educated.

Girls' education also increases gender equality. The countries supported by Room to Read did not have much gender equality. Mostly boys were educated, which made women valued less.

Room to Read creates a healthy environment for girls to get education. This non-profit organization uses donation to provides the girls with education. It trains teachers to help motivate and support the girls.
