traffic More Traffic, More Pollution In San Pedro

it damages our health issues

It produces nitrogen oxides

"When nitrogen is released during fuel combustion it combines with oxygen atoms to create nitric oxide"

carbon monoxide

"Carbon monoxide is an odorless, colorless gas created when fuels (such as gasoline, wood, coal, natural gas, propane, oil, and methane) burn incompletely. In the home, heating and cooking equipment that burn fuel are potential sources of carbon monoxide."

a quarter of the hydrocarbons

"A hydrocarbon is an organic compound made of nothing more than carbons and hydrogens. It is possible for double or triple bonds to form between carbon atoms and even for structures, such as rings, to form. Saturated hydrocarbons have as many hydrogen atoms as possible attached to every carbon."

the camellones will help us

cars give pollution, but camellones will reverse that

"Camellones are something that was developed as a prototype to repeat in different avenues of the municipality of San Pedro. The proposal of cycle tracks, pedestrian walkers and green ridges that they integrate catchment systems and re-use of rainwater along the avenue of Humberto Lobo, and it ranges from the avenue of Vasconcelos to the south to Morones Prieto to the north." more complains, but better air.

Many people complain about the camellones ecologicos or rutas ecologicas because of things that do not even make sense but then they blame the goverment that San Pedro is SUPER contaminated.

green space

We will have more green spaces if we have camellones and more green spaces means less pollution so we do not have more probability to get sick

san pedro will be the most contaminated municipality in all latin america

vission pollution

"Visual pollution is an aesthetic issue and refers to the impacts of pollution that impair one's ability to enjoy a vista or view. Visual pollution disturbs the visual areas of people by creating negative changes in the natural environment." see more at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_pollution

gasoline=natural resources=more pollution

Making gasoline means less natural resources because gasoline is made up of fossil fuels, coal, crued oil, and other stuff. the problem is when mixing them together and the car using them pollutes a lot.

more streets=less trees

You can not have a car without a street, but making streets means less trees and less trees means more pollution.
