Ranking the Importance in the Qin Dynasty using P.E.R.s.i.a

Arts was clearly the one that contributed long lasting in the Qin Dynasty.

In the Qin Dynasty, there were any arts created and built. They include, the Great Wall of China, The Grand Canal, Irrigation Channels and many more. These creations helped the Qin Dynasty become more successful. The Great Wall of China brought benefits to China since the walls and borders were secured. Walls were linked together to prevent invasions of barbarians and any attacks from happening. (Engineering An Empire: China, 2006) The Grand Canal made travel easier and trading was often happening. By traveling through the Grand Canal, it made people transport goods and receive goods become more easier than difficult. If it was without the Grand Canal, it will take hours to transport goods to people and trade things to get money (Engineering An Empire: China, 2006). More importantly, these arts and inventions created a strong impact to the Qin Dynasty. This is because as trading happens, the Qin receives more goods which are like money that will help gain more money in their economy. Protection helps secure the Chinese and prevent dangerous acts. As a result, there would be safeness and not danger.

After arts, the Qin Dynasty made a long lasting contribution was Economics

Economics was next because the Qin Dynasty earned lots of goods and money to help improve and change their economy. They also conquered many states. For example, "As a result, the Qin conquered neighboring states and unified China." (Kielmas, n.d.) Another example is from "Engineering An Empire: China" it says how because of the creation of the Grand Canal and the Silk Road, this led to great change in the Qin Dynasty's economic structure. Trading was an essential because they gathered many goods from each other, making it to increase the amount of money they have. This is important because without money, the Qin Dynasty would not have been able to build new creations including the Great Wall of China because you need to buy materials, etc.

Intellectual was next that had long lasting contributions to the Qin Dynasty

To become the most successful and best emperor you need to have some sort of intelligence. Like, having plans to create or invent something new that will help benefit the empire, which the Qin emperor, Qin Shi Huang Di did in the Qin Dynasty. Achievements under the name of Shi Huang Di includes, the Great Wall, Grand Canal, Terracotta Army Tomb, and many more. For example, Shi Huang Di noticed that the northern border of China needed protection because there were any attacks happening, which in result gave the emperor an idea to secure that border. It was smart of the Qin emperor to construct a wall for China to protect the Chinese and to prevent enemies. Another example is how the Grand Canal also showed how the emperor thought of how it will benefit the economic system for the Qin Dynasty.

Politics was next...

The political structure of the Qin Dynasty was how they organized the government into 3 main parts. They include, the civil division, military division, and the censorate which made sure that the government was functioning properly. Therefore, they create a centralized bureaucracy. Shi Huang Di created a strict government to whom which he agrees to and follows Legalism. Another example is war. War was also important in the political structure. This is because the strategies and inventions they created are used on soldiers and during the war. Inventions such as foot soldiers are used in wartime. There was lighter armor that the soldiers had to carry, this allows the speed to increase. From the website, (http://brandonqindynasty.weebly.com/inventions2.html) Another example is, "Fear and control were the key features of this political system.." The Qin state was controlling the people there which many people feared about.

Religion was next...

The Qin Dynasty followed Legalism. Qin Shi Huang Di agreed with how Legalism was the best to follow in the Qin Dynasty. However, many people hated it. As it states, "If a person did not behave according to the rules then others were required to report him. If they did not do this, they were quartered or beheaded." Another example is, "Shi Huangti believed that uneducated people were easier to control and so the people should remain stupid so that they would never think to doubt who was in charge of the empire. This policy resulted in the burning of books on a large scale.." This is important because he wanted full control so that no one would be smarter to be overpowered by. If people were educated, they can have the chance to become emperor of the dynasty. Both of the evidence are from, (http://www.ancient.eu/Qin_Dynasty/)

Finally, social is the last one

Social was the last one that contributed to long lasting of the Qin Dynasty. This is because, as shown on the image above, emperors were considered the strongest and most powerful. Soldiers, however is the least because the emperor thinks all the work they need to do is to fight. Whereas compared to workers or peasants, those who contributed to the help of the dynasty, will be rewarded as it lists in the rule of Legalism. Because of how the Qin Dynasty follows Legalism, it is how the emperor looks upon and looks down on certain people. Those who fail to show help will receive punishment and death. Social structure of the Qin Dynasty is mainly how the status of each type of person is contributed to this dynasty. Social is last because many workers were forced to work for the emperors and as a result, many died and some rebellions occurred which led to the downfall.
