Denton, Texas has become a ghostly town. Normally bustling with activity fueled by 45,000 students in two universities, Denton was stilled in March, 2020, when both universities shifted to emergency online operations. Non-essential activities throughout the city were prohibited soon after by government order. An eerie emptiness settled.

Interior of Cool Beans a popular bar on the normally bustling Fry St., directly adjacent to the campus of the University of North Texas, with a student population of nearly 38,000.

Employees of Dix Coney Island Diner take a short break together. The diner was forced to close its dining room, serving customers by take-out orders only.
