John Cabot was born in Italy in 1450.

John Cabots career was being a sailor.

His motives was to find a rout to Asia to trade.

John Cabot was sponsored by Spain and he also was sponsored by King Henry VII.

John Cabot started at Spain and he sailed west to the new world and on the new world he explored present-day Canada.

John Cabots impact was to claim land for a European nation and when he hit the new world he met the American Indians and he also named the land that he was on Maryland.
