Installing an Experience Manager Application using Package Share

Package Share can be directly accessed from https://www.adobeaemcloud.com/content/packageshare.html or from your AEM instance. Detailed help information on Packages and PackageShare is available here.

Who can deploy Package Share packages?

Packages in Package Share integrate AEM with third party products or developer components. These products normally require a separate purchase and setup with the partner in addition to the deployment of the package on your AEM servers. It is recommended that this relationship is setup prior to accessing the Package Share packages as account and licensing details are typically required during configuration. Developer components are delivered either as-is or with limited support from the developer who created the component.

Packages contain configuration screens and often do not require code changes to begin to utilize their features. But it is typical for advanced use cases to require developer skills to more deeply embed the integration into the specific configuration, processes and polices of a particular AEM deployment.

Step 1: Sign in to the Experience Cloud

Sign in using your Adobe ID.

Step 2: Navigate to Adobe Experience Manager

Select PackageShare from the AEM menu to access a list of available packages including 3rd party applications

Locate the application in Package Share

Step 3: Download the application you wish to install

Download the application
