Clubs & Activities at Conrad

Extra-curricular involvement is an important part of the secondary school experience and research indicates a positive correlation between this involvement and grades/attendance. Please visit our clubs and activities website and encourage your student to get involved.

Advanced Placement Information - AP Exam registration and payment is past due to the guidance office.

Senior Families - The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) has opened. All college-bound seniors need to complete this with their family as soon as possible.

Financial Aid Information Night - We will be holding our annual Financial Aid Information night on Tuesday October 22nd at 6:30 PM in our auditorium. Rob Ruggerio from Navigate Financial Aid will be our presenter and will help you to understand the FASFA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as well as the financial aid process as a whole for your college bound student.

PSAT - The Juniors took the PSAT exam on Wednesday, October 16th and should receive their test scores by Thanksgiving.

Wellness Center

Please visit our School-Based Health Center's page on our website. Here you will find Wellness Center quick facts, contact information, registration forms, physical forms, immunization consent forms, and behavioral assessment information. Please consider registering your student.

Winter Sports - Winter sports begin November 11th. Schedule physicals now. Please pick up physical forms from the nurse or wellness center. Physicals must be completed on the DIAA forms . Physicals are free for members of the Conrad Wellness Center. Physicals can also be completed at FamilyID.com.

Middle School Sports- Winter sports interest sheets will be in the cafeteria during lunches.

Best of luck to our high school and middle school sports as they continue to compete in fall contests. Come out and support the sports programs!

High School Yearbook - The high school yearbook is accepting photos for consideration. If you send something out, If you have photos, please be sure to identify the student(s) in the photos and a little blurb about what they are doing. Meal Benefit Form FAQ Letter - Please review the attached letter pertaining to Free Meals at School if you answer YES to any of the following questions.

Are you interested in learning more about how your child may be eligible to receive free meals at school? Please review the attached letter that highlights frequently asked questions about applying for free meals.

Is your child attending Conrad already receiving free meals at school? If you answered yes, however you have not submitted a completed Meal Benefit Form for the 2019-2020 school year, please review the attached letter to determine if your child’s free meal eligibility will expire with the quickly approaching free meal carry over eligibility period from 2018-2019 school year coming to a close.

Did your child attend a school that participated in the Community Eligibility Provision Program where no meal benefit form was required? If you answered yes and your child now attends a school NOT participating in the CEP program, please review the attached letter for more information about how your child may be eligible for free meals at Conrad.

Parent Teacher Organization

Please join us for the upcoming PTO Meeting on Thursday, November 7, 2019 @ 7pm in CSS Library (6:30pm Executive Board Meeting - if you arrive early, please come in & join us). We will be discussing any upcoming PTO business, hear any updates from Mark Pruitt, Principal & will hear from Dr. Barbara Prillaman with a Social Studies department update.

Thank you to our families who joined the PTO this school year! Even though the membership contest is over, families can still join the PTO. Membership is $10. The money supports many PTO activities & events that benefit all CSS students. Membership forms available online at www.conradpto.com or at a PTO meeting, or can pay online via PayPal (link found on the website, www.conradpto.com).

Spirit Wear

The PTO will have Spirit Wear for Sale at the following Home Football Games (Weather Permitting):

Alumni Corner

The Conrad Alumni Craft Show is scheduled for Saturday, October 26th in the Conrad Gym from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. More than 60 vendors - many of them new this year! - will offer handmade and unique items just in time to start your holiday shopping! Conrad Alumni merchandise will be available for sale also. Free Admission!! Door Prizes!! Food will be available for sale! Acme Pharmacy will be offering FREE* Flu Shots at the event.
