Dreaming of Utah With my Kona Process 134 DL

As much as I love fatbiking in the winter, with our first snowfall this year in Ottawa on November 19th, this winter is feeling especially long. With the days getting longer and the temperatures warming up (a little!), I start to dream about my annual week long mountain bike trip with friends to Hurricane, Utah. I have the itch to ride technical single track trails. A serious itch for my tires to be on rocks and dirt again.

The Kona Process 134 is my bike of choice on the mountain bike trails at home, and it is just as trustworthy on my mountain bike vacations. It gets just as excited as I do! When riding the Kona Process 134 on new trails, I am confident and feel stable especially on the steep, technical descents. It is a stellar bike for long days in the saddle when I want to squeeze in every last trail that I can.

I will keep dreaming about the wide open desert landscape. After months of snowy terrain, it is a treat to my senses to enjoy the colour and sounds of the desert. Gooseberry Mesa, Zen and Guacamole are a few of my favorite trails that I’m sure to ride at least once when I’m there!
Enjoying the sun at the lookout on Little Creek Mesa.
