Best Dressed at the Grammy's Jessica daniello

A few crazy things happened this year at the Grammys. Billie Elilish took home five grammy awards with her outstanding music and performances. A recognition for Kobe Bryant was given out to the public as well. This year’s Grammys was definitely a special one. The 2020 Grammys were a sight to see showcasing all the gorgeous stars walking the red carpet.

Ariana Grande strutted a beautiful gray Giambattista Valli ball gown with matching silk, gray gloves up to her elbows, looking like she came straight out of a Cinderella movie. It had a wide tulle skirt covering her entire space on the red carpet. Of course she had her signature high ponytail with this outfit showcasing her structured complexion. Ariana stole the show with this dramatic piece and all eyes on her. She was nominated for five different awards at the 2020 Grammys this year.
Billie Eilish’s unique style contributed to her outfit wearing a baggy, button down, Gucci jacket with matching baggy pants. To match that, she rocked fingerless gloves, green roots in her hair and long green nails. To top the look off, she pulled off a mesh Gucci face mask with dark sunglasses showing her unique take on fashion. Billie made history to be the second artist to win all four big categories of the Grammys: best song, record, album and best new artist.
Lizzo came ready to her first Grammy Awards Show wearing a Versace, old-Hollywood style dress. The dress was slim fitting, slitted, strapless and elegant with a faux fur stole. She topped off her look with a diamond necklace and earrings. Lizzo was nominated for eight different categories and took home three grammys: Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best Urban Contemporary Album, and Best Pop Solo Performance. Lizzo has blown up over just a few months with one of her newer songs, “Truth Hurts”, as number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Lil Nas X walked the red carpet in all neon, eye opening attire. Lil Nas X wore a bright pink neon Atelier Versace cowboy outfit. With Swarovski Crystals, gold studs, and medusa head buttons all over this piece, he really made a statement. He wore a cowboy hat, mesh shirt, cropped jacket, and gold John Hardy rings to show off his bling. He is known as the guy who sang Old Town Road so it’s no shock he came styling in this outfit. He won in the categories: Music Video and Pop Duo/Group Performance.
Lastly, the biggest statement on the red carpet was Billy Porter; winning the Musical Theater Album Grammy. He made a huge statement at the 2020 Grammy Award show wearing a custom made, turquoise jumpsuit by Baja East. His jumpsuit was covered in crystals, form fitting, and jazzlike with crystals hanging from the bottom of his pants. Billy Porter’s makeup was even on point with turquoise eyeshadow to match his jumpsuit, silver lipstick, a crystal beauty mark on his cheek, and silver highlighter. The best part of this look was by far his hat. The hat was designed like a lamp with diamond shades that were controlled by a remote and could open and close. This look blew up all over the media and people started making tweets; even Donald Trump Jr. made a tweet using his look.

Overall, every star that attended the Grammys this year was dressed perfectly for the occasion. They each stole the show, in their own way, even if some of them didn’t come home with a Grammy Award.
