Government and Economics

Mexico's government is a federal democracy. Their current leader is Enrique Pena Nieto. Mexico's economy is closer to market but has a little bit of command. The world cup would positively support Mexico because visitors / citizens would by a lot of food, bus tickets, plane tickets , and more which would give us a lot of money for our economy. The government will support the World Cup in a positive way because we are a democracy and we will accept people who come to watch without any problems. In Mexico, soccer is enjoyed by many people so it is most likely that the government will be glad to have the FIFA World Cup here in 2022. On the other hand, Cuba would not be a good place to host the FIFA World Cup because they are a communist country so there will be a lot of trouble getting in to Cuba and leaving Cuba. Also, Cuba hasn't had the best history with the U.S so many people wouldn't want to go there.
