My older sister helping me hold back and restrain myself from eating my birthday cake before my family finishes singing "Happy Birthday". I can even see the temptation in my eyes, but with my impressive self control I was able to make it through.
Spotlight Effect
Standing up on stage in front of crowd full of people can be very nerve-racking because I tend to think everyone is staring at me. Even though I have to remember most likely more than half the audience is on their phone or not even paying attention.
