Saturn has rings. Saturn is 888 million miles from the sun. The temperature of Saturn is below 285 degrees. Saturn is the 2nd largest planet in our Solar System.

Saturn is a gas giant. Days on Saturn are 10 hours 45 minutes. Saturn is 74,900 miles long and made of helium and hydrogen. This planet has a hot rocky core.

Saturn is the 6th planet from the sun.

Saturn has at least 40 moons. The largest moon orbiting Saturn is Titan. Americans once landed an unmanned spacecraft called Huygens onto Titan. Titan is the only planet that has a thick atmosphere and clouds.

Saturn's 7 rings are made of thousands of little ringlets. Water, ice, and dust make up the ringlets.
