George Calvert is a famous person in Maryland in 1633.he was born circa 1578.He served in the House of Commons beginning and was knighted in 1617.He converted to Catholicism in 1625. In 1628, he moved to Avalon, a New World colony, but was not accepted due to his beliefs.
