Ted Reuvers #8 from Dundas (MN) won the second feature, he started 3rd row outside in the 18 car field. After a restart on lap three Reuvers took the lead and held off a hard charging #99 Brent Kane who was racing in memory of his longtime sponsor Carol Malberg who died unexpected this past week. Reuvers won by .512 seconds with Conrad Jorgenson finishing 3rd.
Reuvers has now won 3 of the 5 features in 2016 but he is not the point leader. Campbell and Jorgenson are tied for the top spot with Reuvers 3 points behind.
The first Pepsi Power Stock feature saw 20 cars begin the race, #6 Joey Prusak from Minnetonka (MN) took the lead from his pole starting position. 2014 Champion Nick Oxborough from Savage (MN) followed closely behind, at lap 5 Oxborough and Prusak were side by side fighting for the lead, they raced that way until Prusak reestablished the top spot halfway through the 20 lap main event. Tom Doten #62 from St Paul (MN) then set his sights on the leaders moving all the way up from his sixth row starting position, Doten finally passed Oxborough and finished .534 seconds behind Prusak at the finish line for second place. This is the first trophy for Prusak since his big win at the Thunderstruck93 event last fall.
In his rookie year of racing #37 Bryce Blohm from Lakeville (MN) has already won his second Pepsi Power Stock trophy. Blohm advanced from his 5th starting position to challenge for the lead by mid-race. Brandon Petersen #7 from Faribault (MN) held the lead and fought off Blohm the entire 20 lap race until the final lap. The top two drivers both passed a lapped car down the back stretch on the white flag lap, Blohm and Petersen then had contact in corner three, Blohm continued and crossed the finish line first, followed by Petersen. "I didn't want to win like that, I wasn't trying to hit him by any means," said Blohm post race. Tom Doten finished third followed by Darin Patnode and Ryan Varner.
