The theme is cultural interactions my reasons are she was a famous painter who made a lot of self portraits and made the Mexican cultural have an identity she was talked about as a surrealist (a 20th century advent -garde movement in art and literature and sought to release the creative potential of the unconscious mind, for example by the irrational juxtaposition of images.

this quote shows that Frida Kahlo was a very stressful person and believed that other people had the right to be able to endure suffering but you shouldn't let that suffering get to much.
