Where You Can Find Them

  • Spalding is located online and locally in sports adventure stores.
  • Wilson is also located online and locally in sports adventure stores.

Promotions They Have

  • Spalding has many big name sponsors (NFL, NCAA, NBA).
  • Wilson uses discounted prices to entice the buyer.

Strengths

  • Spalding is well represented by big sponsors and a wide variety of sponsors.
  • Wilson has cheap prices, and a wide variety of products.

Weaknesses

  • Spalding is a little more pricy than competitors, smaller range of products to offer.
  • Wilson doesn't have as many sponsors as Spalding, website isn't as clean and crisp as Spalding's. A little more confusing.

Opportunities

  • Spalding can expand the amount of products they can offer due to the amount of sponsors they have.
  • Wilson can also build on the already diverse range of products they have by trying to obtain sponsorships.

Threats

  • Spalding's competitors prices are cheaper which can drive away customers.
  • Wilson has a lot of equipment that is not consider the "best quality" so people might look for better gear.

My Opinion

Wilson because they have a wider variety of products to offer and cheaper prices than Spalding which would attract more buyers
