How the Internet has affected us BY: ian johnston

The amazing that you use everyday is actually not the Internet it's the World Wide Web and the creator of this fantastic thing is Tim Berners-Lee.

Some of the of the browsers used when the World Wide Web was created our still used today like Microsoft's Internet Explore and Google which was created by two graduate students.

PhD Keith Hampton found that Facebook users had 9% more people to confide in than other Internet users and people that regularly use instant messaging and phones have closer ties.

Social media

Sadly the UK Plagiarism Advisory Service found that one in four British students admitted to copy and pasting work from the Internet and presenting it as their own.

I hope that the Internet helps bring everyone together which probably won't happen, but who knows.
