#FBS GameChanger middle tennessee's mike minter TAKES player of the week HONORS

Minter made the play of a game on ASN that featured 860 passing yards. The senior cornerback batted down a fourth-down pass in the end zone to preserve Middle Tennessee's 38-34 Conference USA victory against Louisiana Tech on ASN.

Minter also recovered a fumble as the Blue Raiders rallied from a 27-7 deficit behind RB I'Tavius Mathers and QB Brent Stockstill. He edged out Tulsa's Dane Evans, Appalachian State's Jalin Moore and Memphis' Riley Ferguson with 36% of more than 3,000 votes cast on americansportsnet.com.

Moore, a sophomore, ran for a career-high 257 yards with 2 touchdowns in Appalachian State's 45-38 victory against Akron. Moore carried 39 times in a game that featured 1,073 yards of total offense and 60 first downs. He also caught 3 passes for 17 yards. The Mountaineers play Georgia State Saturday on ASN.
Evans, a senior, rallied Tulsa from a 31-0 deficit to a 48-41 victory against Fresno State — the biggest comeback in school history. Evans passed for 4 touchdowns and ran 18 yards for the game-winner (above) in the second overtime. He completed 22 of 32 passes for 273 yards.
Ferguson, a junior, tied a Memphis school record with 7 touchdowns in a 77-3 victory against Bowling Green. Ferguson, who walked away from a scholarship at Tennessee, passed for 359 yards and 6 touchdowns, completing 20 of 27 throws. He also ran for a TD.
