The Main page of the Medical Library website is where you can access our vast collection of books, databases, online course & subject guides to help you with your medical education information needs.

Start with the Find Tab to browse and access textbooks, articles, journals, subject guides, mobile resources and over 60 subscription medical databases. You can also do a PubMed search right from the main page.

Find information and links to your textbooks at the Find Books Page

Find Articles using PubMed, Scopus and other literature databases on the Articles page.

Search our Medical Databases on the Find Database tab. Click on the i icon next to the name of the database to learn more about each resource.

Each database has unique resources for you whether for study, research, or patient care.

Access to library resources is immediate when you're on campus. The remote access page will come up if you are away from campus. Just sign in with your OU NetID (the first part of your email address) and your password.

Download mobile apps for study, point-of-care reference, and productivity.

Course and Subject Guides provide a one-stop webpage of resources for each course, clerkship, and on general topics to help you navigate your courses.

An example of one for the course guides -- AFCP with links to books, eBooks, databases, online anatomy tools, and review resources in anatomy.

The Research Help tabs will get you the information you need to help with your Embark and other research projects.

Citation Tools to help you store, organize, and format references for your coursework and future publications.

The Services tabs provide even more information of the services and support available to you.

The Computers and Technology page highlights all the technology available for your use in our library spaces.

We have many devices for checkout in our library office to help you with your studies and well-being while studying in the library.

The Library Spaces page highlights our physical Medical Library spaces located on the lower level of Kresge Library. Our study rooms provide dedicated study space for medical students only.

The About tabs will tell you all about the library hours, staff information, and how to find us. This will be updated based on changes due to the pandemic.

The About News & Events tab highlights the latest news about resources, services, and upcoming library events - both live and virtual.

When the library is closed, use the Remote Services page to quickly access materials or find out how to get help with research.
