Weekly Prayer Bread of Hope

Thank you for joining with us in this time of prayer today.

We invite you to join us in prayer over Bread of Hope and our efforts to continue taking the gospel to the unreached Wayuu people in Venezuela and Colombia.

Each week we will post an updated prayer guide for you to be able to follow along with us.

Before we begin today, we want to say...

THANK YOU

Jose Alfonso, our Ministry Coordinator in Colombia, has a quick message of his gratitude and thankfulness to share with you today.

We are encouraged by the passage of scripture Jose Alfonso shared with us today as we begin this time of prayer together.

"This is my gospel, for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God’s word is not chained."

2 Timothy 2:9

PRAISE

PRAISE God for protecting the Wayuu people from the COVID-19.

To this day, there is only one case of coronavirus reported in La Guajira. A member of the Colombian military who returned to Colombia from training in the US.

PRAISE God for his provision in the midst of this crisis.

We are thankful for those who donated to support pastors during this crisis.

PRAY

PRAY for Wayuu pastors as they continue to make disciples in their communities.

God’s Word is not limited by any circumstance in the world. Pray for faith and grace as these soldiers of Christ continue to impact their communities with the gospel.

PRAY for our local staff as they continue to empower Wayuu pastors and churches in Venezuela and Colombia during this crisis.

A Message from our Brother, Lindro Epinayu...

“Thank you so much! I am thankful for the way that you support us. In our communities, there is fear and despair, people are wondering what is going to happen. There is a religious group teaching that we should write the words: The blood of Jesus in our doors, so nothing bad will happen. But I teach that the blood of Jesus paid for our sins. We don’t need to write it down but believe it. The Bible says that these things will happen; diseases and natural disasters. We need to trust in God and persevere.”

Lindro is one of our Sembradores (Church Planters). He joined the program in 2017.

Thank you for joining with us for weekly prayer!

We are praying for you...

that "the PEACE of God which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:7
