Join us for a wonderful getaway to the City of Lights - Paris! We will spend 5 days exploring Paris and enjoying all the sights and attractions. We will be doing wine tasting, touring the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and much more.

July 14 - our day ends this evening with an evening overnight flight from JFK to Paris

July 14 - Our day begins by landing in Paris and transferring to our hotel. We will be staying at the Bassano Hotel which is in the center of the city and close to all attractions. Enjoy the morning and afternoon resting or exploring on your own.

This evening we will gather for the Ghosts, Mysteries and Legends Night Walking Tour of Paris. Meeting in the hotel lobby at 8:00 pm to meet our guide in a central location in Paris: Challenge your romantic illusions of gay Paris on a terrifying 2-hour tour of the city’s most sinister spots. Delve into the eerie mysteries of the City of Light, strolling the serpentine streets in search of spectres and spooks; stray from the beaten path with a masterful story teller, discovering unfamiliar facts about the captivating capital as you venture to sites of reputed haunting. Gain fascinating insight into the horrible history of the city when you visit mystery-shrouded sites like the Place de la Vert Gallant and the Palais du Justice. July 16 - this morning we will meet in the morning for our Skip The Lines visit to the Eiffel Tower. The skip the lines tickets gives us access to the 2nd level of the tower. Scope out the Eiffel Tower from near and far on this in-depth tour, starting from the postcard-perfect viewpoint in Trocadero Plaza and ending on the Iron Lady's observation deck. Join an expert guide to learn about the tower's history and skip the long lines to save time during your visit. Start your tour across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower at Trocadero Plaza, where shutterbugs gather to snap their own image of this iconic structure. Listen to your guide share stories about its construction, timed to coincide with the 1889 World's Fair, and then stroll over the Pont d'Iéna to the Eiffel Tower's iron-shrouded base. Continue past the long queues and head straight to the second-story observation deck, where you can take in sweeping views of Paris while your guide points out nearby sights, from the curving bends of the Seine River to the people-packed lawns of the Champ de Mars. Part ways with your guide and linger a bit longer enjoying the views, or head up to the top floor on your own for a lofty look at the City of Lights. The rest of the day is on your own to explore Paris. DON'T FORGET TO BRING A LOCK FOR THE BRIDGE!

This evening we will gather at 5:00 for our French Cheese & Wine Intro tasting! In this unique cheese shop designed to promote small, unpasteurised, artisanal cheeses, you will be welcomed by friendly cheese and wine experts, eager to share about their beloved cheeses :) Well seatted in the small cheese and wine bar hidden behind the shop, you will experiment 4 of the best cheese and wine pairing that our experts want to share with you. What You Can Expect fast track through cheese and wine You will arrive at the cheese shop and be greeted by our friendly cheese team. They will first introduce you into the craft and functioning of tradionnal cheese shop and ripening cellar. Then they guide you to our "chalet style" cheese and wine bar. The expert will bring you a selection of 4 french cheeses paired with 4 different wines, will introduction each one and let you experiment on your own. This will be a unique tasting experience : the taste of the cheeses and wines will be changing as they are combined...:) Do not take it as a lunch, but as tasting experience that will bring you in a fast track through the wonder of french cheeses and wines.

July 17 - this morning we will gather and head out for our trip to Notre Dame Cathedral for our guided tour. Entry tickets are included. Rest of the afternoon is on your own to explore the cathedral.

This evening at 6:00 we will meet up for our Paris Champagne Tasting: Discover the Champagne Terroirs. Sample hand-picked champagnes in a 17th-century Paris champagne cellar. Journey to the city's St Germain area to taste three carefully selected champagne varietals paired with your choice of sweet or savory biscuits. Learn about what goes into making the perfect champagne—factors that include terroir, grapes and blend—as well as why champagne is considered ideal as both an aperitif and dinner wine. Afterward, purchase a few bottles to enjoy once you're home. July 18 - the morning starts off gathering at 9:30 for our 10am tour Behind the Scenes of a Boulangerie : French Bakery Tour in Paris. Spend some quality time in the kitchens of a French bakery to learn the inside secrets of French baking during a boulangerie tour. Join an expert French baker in the back rooms of a well-known bakery in central Paris to hear some of the secrets that make French pastries and breads so special and learn how to make a perfect French baguette. Highlights 1-hour French bakery tour in Paris Go behind the scenes of an authentic Parisian boulangerie Learn how the classic French baguette is made Discover the secrets of French pastries and hear bread-making tips from your knowledgeable French baker Take home a freshly baked French baguette and croissant

This afternoon we will head over to the Louvre Museum to explore on your own. We have skip the line passes. The rest of the day is on your own.

This evening is the optional Paris Catacomb Tour....this is optional and the cost is additional to the package. The cost for this is $42 per person. The tour starts at 9pm and must be booked in advance.

July 19 - we check out of our hotel and transfer back to the airport for our flight back to the US. If you chose one of the optional extensions you will continue to the airport and catch your train to either Amsterdam or Ghent for your 2 night stay.

OPTIONAL AMSTERDAM EXTENSION July 19-July 21........if you chose the Amsterdam Extenstion you will travel to the airport then take the train to Amsterdam. You will transfer for your hotel: Boutique Hotel in Notting Hill. Explore Amsterdam on your own. Return to Paris on the 21st for your flight home. The cost for this extension is $621.68 per person

OPTIONAL GHENT EXTENSION July 19-July 21........if you chose the Ghent Extenstion you will travel to the airport then take the train to Ghent. You will transfer for your hotel: Marriott Ghent. Explore Ghent on your own. Return to Paris on the 21st for your flight home. The cost for this extension is $425.97 per person.

The cost for all of the above (not including the optional tour and extension) is $1400 per person based on double occupancy. Single occupancy and triple occupancy are available. The cost includes: round trip flights from JFK, airport/hotel transfers, 4 nights at the hotel in Paris, all tours mentioned. Deposit is $200 pp with final due by April 1, 2019. Payment plans are available. NOT included: meals, optional tours, optional extension, insurance, gratuities.
