Hello everybody! We have been working hard on the location and have appreciated all of the work and sacrifices that many of you have already made! On top of this, we continue to share in joyful prayer for all of the spiritual support and unity we have had from our whole team. In case you missed the last email, our location is 5840 Butler Rd., Gibsonville, NC 27249. It is the old Awestruck Church property.

Praise God for His Work

  • We are highly encouraged that we were able to find such a perfect location, and through the work of faithful members we are starting to see a fuller vision for what this property has to offer.
  • With this property, the Awestruck Church body is allowing us to use several things that are cutting our starting costs down significantly. A HUGE example of this are the chairs.

URGENT NEEDS

We desperately need volunteers in many areas. Please be praying about the following positions:

  1. Teachers! This will look different depending on the age groups, but we have to fill a nursery, toddler room, and elementary room (eventually split into young elementary and Tweens ) for Sunday morning.
  2. High School and Middle School workers for Sunday nights as well as a monthly outing.
  3. Sound Techs for services and practice.
  4. Computer Techs for services (mostly just running computer for services).

The hope is that we can fill these positions to the point where no one person is overburdened and can rotate accordingly. We are also planning to give plenty of training and tools needed for each position. Please pray that these positions be filled.

Prayer Needs

  • As we tackle starting up in this location we want to be prayerful that our vision and obedience to the Spirit be effective in the hearts of those that need our church.
  • Continue to pray for Harvest Baptist Church. We want to show our love for them through our prayers. There will inevitably be positions that need to be filled as a few of us leave to embark on this mission and we want God to fill these positions with the perfect replacements.
  • Support prayers for our missionaries: Cassidy Hursey (NY), David & Kristi Mize (MI), Jesse Hursey (NC), and Lance Brown (National).

CC.C Pillar: (Read Ephesians 6:18; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) At CC.C we firmly believe that, as Christians, it is our duty to always be in a mindset of prayer and joy. We are to bring all things to God through prayer, as long as they be within the context of His will for the church and mankind. We are to love Him in such a way that our prayer stems from living a life of joy.

Devotional

As usual, we have included a devotional in the original email. These serve to further strengthen the body in their knowledge of God, His Word, and His church. We ask that you take the time to prayerfully read and meditate on this short message as we continue to walk together in unity of Spirit.
